Description

* Include a WRFA manual and first aid pocket guide
*Classroom Instruction - Two day course - 8:30-5:00 daily
* Participants must have a current CPR/AED certification to take the course.

This course is designed to meet the Boy Scouts of America requirements for wilderness first aid, as well as, Red Cross criteria for emergencies when Emergency Medical Services are 1 or more hours away from arriving on the scene. This goes beyond the regular First Aid given for short term care but also provides practice on tourniquets, decision making for extraction, getting help and how to keep things from getting worse. 18 hours includes breaks and Lunch Times
